Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: 29 August 2026
Our accessibility goal
We aim to design and maintain this website in alignment with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. This statement describes the target standard; it is not a claim that every page or third-party service has completed an independent WCAG conformance audit.
What we are working to support
- keyboard navigation and visible keyboard focus;
- clear headings and page structure;
- meaningful link text and labels;
- text alternatives for meaningful images;
- sufficient text and interface contrast;
- zoom, reflow, and mobile use without unnecessary loss of information;
- form labels, instructions, and understandable validation where forms are provided;
- reduced reliance on color alone to communicate meaning.
Known limitations
Third-party content, including embedded video or external government services, may not be under the Consulate’s accessibility control. Some content may also change as the website is prepared for its final production domain. Accessibility issues identified during testing should be corrected before or as soon as practicable after production launch.
Requesting assistance or an alternative format
If you cannot access information or complete a website task because of an accessibility barrier, please contact the Consulate. We will try to provide the information through a reasonable alternative method within the scope of available services.
