The website uses or is designed to use technical services that may process limited data in order to operate. The current codebase includes a Neon-hosted PostgreSQL database for the website’s administrative system and Cloudflare R2-compatible storage for published news images. The site may also connect visitors to Google Fonts, the World Bank Open Data API, and privacy-enhanced YouTube embeds after a visitor chooses to load a video.

These providers may receive technical information such as an IP address, browser headers, and the requested resource. Their processing is also governed by their own terms and privacy practices. The website does not currently include advertising technology, Meta Pixel, or Google Analytics in the supplied codebase.

Website infrastructure and consular coordination can involve systems, service providers, or government authorities located outside The Gambia. Where information needs to be handled across borders, the Consulate will use it only for an appropriate operational, security, legal, or consular purpose and subject to applicable requirements.
